by: Slave | In an effort to keep the CAPS database as up to date as possible we have just run a cleansing script clearing out any clans without members ..
If you find that your clan no longer shows on CAPS when it should please recreate your clan and remember to add your members as soon after creating it as possible.

by: Mike | To give clans a fair go of using the Q2 CTF servers during the week. I have re-done the booking system. Clans are welcome to play on the server when its not in use. The password has been reset back to what it was originally. You must understand that a booking takes priority and the server will be restarted when it is due to be used in a booking. To book or cancel a booking for a server please you the links to the right.

by: Mike | A while ago (8th August), I stated that you must click the Savage Leagues games each player plays in the leagues. This should have brought relevant icons next to the name in your member lists. To enable admins to look at these lists easily - there is now a league selecter at the top. There will be also links from your schedules that should bring up links to the right member lists within 24 hours. If any player doesn't come up that player will not be eligible. If you have any trouble email me at elusive@savageuk.com and I will do my best to help you.

by: Mike | Some of you may have been having problems booking the CS server or a different mod type other than Q2CTF. This has now been fixed, sorry for any inconvience caused. These problems only occured as far as I am aware in Netscape 4.75.

by: Mike | You can store your Manager Name, Team Name and league on CAPS... Just go to caps add a "character" to your profile... State that the character players IFL. Then you should be able to enter the details... If you want to hold, and search on any other details let me know by emailing me at elusive@savageuk.com

by: Mike | Please note that when adding a player to your CAPS Clan membership listings you have to use a REAL email addresses for the player. Addresses such as 'x@no.com' are now no longer exceptable as a confirmation email is sent to the player asking them to visit an enclosed URL. Once visited this comfirms the player wants to play for said Clan and the 'two week' rule starts. A countdown is then started, for this player, within the Clans membership listings. After 14 days the player will then move into the eligible section. The rules pages for all leagues will be updated with this info as soon as possible.

1. Every player in the Savage UK leagues must have a caps profile. Otherwise it won't be linked. They must be linked, you will be reminded via email after a set period if this is still the case.
2. If you have got a caps profile and you are not linked then your clan leader has used a wrong email. Get the Leader to use the Edit Members Email Function.
3. If the player has not got a clan profile get him/her to make a profile with the email you used in the clan listing.
4. Adding new players to the list:
1. The player must have a profile.
2. In the email section use a caps profile email for the player.
3. Select the Savage league games the player plays for the clan.
4. The player will then be emailed, the player then visits a url to say he is playing for that clan. As soon as the player clicks on the URL the 2 weeks wait starts.

by: Slave | Well .. CAPS has been open for one day and has had, so far, the details of 62 Clans and over 600 Players input. Rico has put up a list of 'soon to be implemented' improvements and fixes to the system which you can read about here. If you've not yet signed up for CAPS go here and read all about it.
